Can you believe 2022 is already past the halfway mark? This year has absolutely flown by for us here at PRA, and as the saying goes we have been having a lot of fun! We’ve held some fantastic events including our weekly adoption events at pet stores around Perth, as well as some very special visits to universities, senior centres and more with cuddly kittens in tow! We’ve managed to match a massive 921 cats and kittens to their forever homes up to 30 June, and among them are some pretty special cases who have really beat the odds. In May we launched a fundraiser seeking donations towards the vet bills of some of our cats and kittens with high medical needs – these animals truly needed a lifeline and we are so glad we could provide one. We set a goal to raise $50,000 – a big ask, but this amount meant we could offer a safe haven to cats battling serious illness, injury or sometimes both, and give them the second chance they deserve. We are so thrilled to announce that we reached our target – $50,875 to be exact! We’re absolutely blown away by the generous and ongoing support of the PRA community and want to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated!
