thumbnail_Outstanding Rescue Group Final

We are very excited to be a finalist in the Outstanding Rescue Group 2020 category for the Jetpets Companion Animal Rescue Awards.

We are so grateful to have the hard work and dedication of our committee, admin, and foster carers recognised with this achievement.

Our aim is not only to rescue animals and see them adopted, but also educating the general public on the current cat laws through encouragement of responsible cat ownership, advocating for improvements to the current cat laws, and working with rangers/Western Australian councils to improve the effective administration of those laws. To further these aims, the President and Vice-President of the rescue are attending the Getting to Zero summit in September to connect, learn and network with a wide range of sector and industry professionals.

Meet Clarence one of the newest PRA babies! Rescued by a Good Samaritan from being euthanized, he has landed himself in a very special foster home with Tracey who specializes in the cats and kittens most people won’t take. Clarence has a birth defect affecting his eyes, he is riddled with ringworm and on top of that the fur on the top of his tail has been ripped off requiring surgery. Poor Clarence has been through a lot in his short life, but things are looking up. Welcome to PRA Clarence ♥️🐾
